The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010)

B

Synopsis

Edmund and Lucy Pevensie find themselves returned to Narnia along with their cousin Eustace, and they join King Caspian on sea adventures aboard his ship The Dawn Treader.

Review

This one could arguable be my second favorite Narnia film behind "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". I can't decide whether I like this or "Prince Caspian" better because although I think "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" is a better put-together movie overall, the story of "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" itself, and hence the movie too, lacks my favorite character which is Peter Pevensie.
"The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" is well-done. I think it stays true to the book for the most part, but why do they keep bringing the White Witch back? Edmund and Lucy are adorable as doting brother and sister. This movie has good messages about being happy with who you are and being true to yourself and to God (or in the case of Narnia, Aslan).
