The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (2005)

B

Synopsis

Four siblings are relocated from the city of London out to the countryside to protect them from the German bombings on the city. The siblings are sent to the large estate of a professor. In one of the rooms of the estate is a wardrobe which the children go through and they discover a magical world of Narnia which is always in winter so they help to defeat the evil White Witch and free the land of Narnia.

Review

This is my favorite Narnia film. I think it is very close, if not perfect, to C.S. Lewis' wonderful classic children's book.
The musical score by Harry Gregson-Williams is brilliant and moving and captures the feel of the movie.
