Pride and Prejudice (1995)

A Synopsis The five Bennett girls encounter love and hardship. Review This is the #1 film adaptation of Jane Austen's classic romance novel. The actors are perfect, and if you can get past the silly British accents and the length (it's 5 hours long total), it's wonderful and perfect. There was another film of "Pride and Prejudice" made in 2005 starring Keira Knightley and Matthew McFayden, but personally, I don't like it as much. I don't think it compares to this 1995 BBC film. The new one is too crammed in for such a short amount of time. You really need the lengthy 1995 version to get the gist of the story. Snapshots:
