Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)

Synopsis Unlikely pair, blacksmith Will Turner and legendary pirate Jack Sparrow team up to follow the vicious pirate crew of the Black Pearl, led by Captain Barbossa, who have taken Will's love Elizabeth Swan. Adventure unfolds involving a curse brought about by Aztec gold and the rituals set in place to cure the afflicted of the curse. Review It's an absolutely wonderful movie on it's own but to think that it was concocted from a silly little ride at Disneyland, it's a landmark, a treasure. I really hated the ride, but I absolutely love the movie. This first one is absolutely the best, hands down. The acting is pretty brilliant (mainly by Depp and Rush). It's action-packed and all around a fun adventure. And the storyline is actually pretty good too. Snapshots:
