Night at the Museum (2006)

B

Synopsis

A man is thrown for a loop when he accepts a job as a night-watchman in a museum where all the exhibits come to life at night due to an ancient curse.

Review

This is a very fun movie! I would love to work at that museum. This movie opened up a renewed interest in natural history museums. It starts off kind of slow which is understandable because it's character development, but then it picks up when he actually goes to the museum and the action starts and the plot develops. That's when it gets fun, when everything comes to life.
And it's awesome to see Dick Van Dyke back on the movie scene, after for me what has been about 40 years. To me, his last noteable movie was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in 1968. Also, seeing Mickey Rooney again is a treat too.
