Indiana Jones (1981-2008)

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981):
Indiana is tasked with finding the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis do.

The Temple of Doom (1984):
Indiana helps a remote village in India reclaim sacred stones stolen by a dangerous cult.

The Last Crusade (1989):
Indiana rescues his kidnapped father and they search for the Holy Grail.

The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008):
Indiana and a young man Mutt search for an ancient alien skull.

Raiders and Last Crusade are the best ones. Temple is very dark. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is just bad and should not have been made probably. For one thing, quite frankly Harrison Ford is too old to be Indiana anymore, just not the same. It also totally strayed from the content that made the others good: instead of hunting religious artifacts, they brought in aliens and it did not work. Although the one plus of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is that we get to see Indy have a son, and he is reunited with Marian and they finally get married in the end.
One kind of funny thing: in Temple, when they are in Beijing the club is called Club Obi-Wan, a reference to a character from Star Wars, a franchise also created by George Lucas.
