B

Synopsis

Train robbers Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid flee to Bolivia to escape a posse out to get them.

Review

I was a little confused when it started off being in sepia tone. I was thinking, is the whole movie going to be in sepia because I didn't think it was, but it magically just clears to regular color pretty quickly. Just kind of a weird start. And it pretty much remains just as silly. I just kept thinking, where is this going? And what the heck? A girl whom Redford has slept with gets on a bicycle with Newman who has ridden the bike up to the house, and they ride off through the wilderness together to the song "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head"? What is going on? The movie's like a parody of a western. And really slow and boring actually.
(Butch's real name is Robert Leroy Parker, Sundance's real name is Harry Longbow)
