Starring: Dan Aykroyd, John Goodman, J. Evan Bonafant, Matt Murphy, Lou Marini, Donald Dunn, Steve Cropper, Alan Rubin, Murphy Dunne, Tom Malone, Willie Hall, B.B. King, Kathleen Freeman, Aretha Franklin, James Brown - featuring Paul Shaffer, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Dr. John This sequel is even more silly than the original. It takes the ridiculousness, car chases, and great music to a new level. John Goodman, while he is a good singer and works well, just is no John Belushi. The least they could've done was to bring in Jim Belushi, then maybe they could have a long-lost third Blues brother. What this movie did right though, in my opinion, was they brought in young Buster who fills in with his cute boyish charm. Another good thing was they upped the anty in famous blues musicians - B.B. King! and a cameo from the god of rock-n-roll Eric Clapton. Snapshots: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() SONGS: 1. Born in Chicago 2. Peter Gunn Theme 3. Perry Mason Theme 4. Cheaper to Keep Her 5.
